We can be the mean

To the enemy only

In which waits to take us out

Considerate of innocents, we are

We do not want to cause harm

Paying attention to detail

Whether large or small

We miss something, we are out

Living life as a sequel

Every day

Disrespect is not allowed

That is for all people and this is vowed

Isn't no comfortability

When you are on any mission

The ground may just be your bed that night

Your feet may swell and begin to ache

The boots may even feel tight but that's got to be alright

Running may be required and at the oddest times

You may not be ready yet you must force yourself

Nor would you know when to expect it

It will just happen

Suspense will hold you but you must move quickly

As not much can be predicted

It all will just be when it becomes

Blasts that will become your past

Many times that has caused fear

When you had to swallow hard

With shallow breathing, sweat saturating you

A confused and pacing mind

Yet had to perform to protect

Knowing you can be the next to die

Must remain strong and take care of others

Through fearful times, you can feel much guilt

Even remorse of the protection actions

All can begin to haunt you

So many complications

It is all about the set up the battle mind
