Release Date Anytime Soon?
The title is wildly popular, especially with PC gamers, and its fanbase continues to grow. So, when can we expect a Battlefield: Bad Company 3? Will they even make another one?
Bad Company 2 was only just released worldwide back in March of 2010, so it's safe to say that a third installment in the series is still years away.
Moreover, there's also the chance that EA may shift its attention toward bringing back the Battlefield series for a possible Battlefield 3.
Cliffhanger
There's no doubt about it. The story on Bad Company 2 definitely left gamers hanging. It was simply incomplete, and you know there's much more to the story to come.
The plot of the game ended with a satellite map showing the Russian advance as they prepare to meet U.S Forces at the border of Canada. Clearly there is much more to the story to come.

So, what are your thoughts of Battlefield: Bad Company 3? It's way too early to tell right now when or if it's going to be released, but I'd expect an announcement in the coming years.
Bad Company 2 certainly still has plenty of life in it and the entire series is very promising. The franchise is proving to be highly popular and successful, so hopefully it will be a long-running series for gamers to enjoy for years to come.

Ah, fanboys- gotta love 'em; clearly not very intelligent as they always resort to personal attacks and the typically lame 'it's a game' defense instead of actually addressing the particular criticisms of the games they love so much. Sad.
DICE loses the 'it's a game' argument when they design in realistic anything- period. If you make stuff up, you can make it do whatever you like, but when you actually put in real weapons, and advertise that you model in such extremely realistic things as bullet drop, you shoot yourself in the foot (no pun intended) by blowing the simplest aspects of reality. None of the things I mentioned is remotely picky- it's the very basic things like it being stupid that guns that fire the same ammunition do different damage and in no possible world could I run up to a guy who's shoo

My personal opinion bout BFBC2 is frikin' amazing! Simply put... most bang for ur buck. I thoroughly enoy FPS, so no surprise, rite? To me, unlike the CoD series (also amazing), I like objective based games. Work as a TEAM to ensure the V. However, u still get the occassionaly run n' gun kat that works on'a KDR.Yeah thats good n'all, but it winds up hurting the overall team if ur not actually, "puttin' in the work". So obviously I'm gr8ly looking forward to any CONFIRMED news, KEYWORD THERE BEING CONFIRMED... on BFBC3. They churned out a winner w/ BFBC2, the story line was, to me, ahelluva lot better than the original. The MP in BC2 compared to BC1, that's a no-brainer. Back to my original comment, BFBC3... I'm sure they'll take the award winning formula that is BFBC2 and dominate the compition in that arena. Don't care if there's a BC3 or not- the stupid features of BC2 ruined the whole franchise- can miss a guy from 2 feet but score headshots from 500m; .50 caliber guns that take more than one hit to kill; knives that beat assault rifles! Stupid choice after stupid choice. DICE games are technically awesome- the environments, the animation, etc. are all incredible- but the choices a few there make just wreck it all...
