Smokey Bones Bar & Grill in Fredericksburg, VA is a barbecue restaurant that is amazing for lunch, dinner, or just a night out. It's across from the Walmart and always has parking. I ordered ribs and chicken which were perfect and exactly what I wanted. Even the broccoli was good and I don't even like broccoli. Miller Lite drafts 22 oz of beer for $2.50 is unheard of, but they were out so the server let us pick any domestic draft we wanted for the same price. My roommate demolished a pulled pork sandwich before I even got mustard sauce on my chicken. Everything about the place made me happy. It's laid back, but helpful and friendly staff didn't bug you, but still came around when you needed something. You could tune in and out of one of the many big screen TVs surrounding you with the sound box located on your table. I mean you can hear yourself think in a Smokey Bones. I'm hungry just thinking about this place. Just go, stop reading my review and just get some BBQ.

Atmosphere - Friendly and inviting. After dinner my roommate and I just sat there and talked without feeling rushed or bothered. The place has a lot of room to a booth could probably easily fit six people. I just liked being there.

Food/Drink - OMG BBQ! Screw Famous Dave's or any other chain Bar-B-Q joint I only want Smokey Bones. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauces made and already great chicken the best chicken ever. The rib meat falls right off the bones and leaves you wanting more. Nothing was fatty or greasy like when places use poor quality meat or leave stuff in the cooker to long. The beer is cold, large, and cheap. I wish we had one closer because I would eat everything they offered.

Service - Friendly, helpful, and laid back. The servers talk to you not at you and if they don't have something then they make it right. My server knew when I was out of beer and when I needed more napkins.

Cost - For two people with some drinking involved we got out under 30 dollars. I can't get food poisoning for that in Northern Virginia.
