Be Your Own Dermatologist: New Laser Treatment Fights Acne in the Comfort of Your Home

Michael Grisso
Studies have shown that acne can essentially lead to other issues such as depression, low self-esteem, and other insecurities due to the embarrassment of having an acne problem. A new product has been made to do instant self-surgeries on your pimples that last only a couple seconds and within 24 hours they are virtually gone, its called Heat Enabled Acne Treatment. Its something that may change the way people use skin care products related to acne in the near future if the rumors hold true.

It is a simple device that can be held in the palm of your hand and is the equivalent to the same laser treatments you could receive from your dermatologist. Once the laser point is placed over the top of the pimple you can give it an instant zap and the healing process begins. A great deal of heat perpetrates underneath the pimple itself killing all the bacteria around the area and delivering a quicker healing process. While it may revolutionize the acne treating industry one of the major drawbacks to this is that you must wait for a pimple to surface to use it as it is not for preventing acne just to eliminate it once it surfaces. You will not find any side effects when using this except for some slight discomfort from the heating pulse and a red mark around the area that you worked on.

However it is an alternative to medicine that many people feel as though can do more harm to their skin then good. There are no medicines involved or drying of the skin which can make individuals feel more comfortable in the process. It does however come with a hefty price tag of $150 upfront, but considering the money that is spent on various products over the course of your life this may seem quite inexpensive. Any other expenses would only include the AA batteries that are needed and they do suggest that you do not use rechargeable batteries and to replace the tip of the tip once a year.

Other things to consider before using ThermaClear is to consult your doctor before using it if you are on acne medication. Also be aware that the treatment will work better if you clean your skin or at least the affected areas before using the Heat Pulse. You will find another product that is very similar to ThermaClear called Zeno. They both work the same way, but the total cost of Zeno which requires you to order a new tip ($25 each) after only 60 applications makes their device about three times more expensive over the course of any given year.

ThermaClear does not require you to use preventable products in order to use the Heat Treatment, but they do have other products that will help prevent acne within their website. Obviously it is something that may not fit in many peoples budget right at the moment and going the old Stridex route for a measly $4 sounds more intriguing, but this can definitely make a great gift to a son or daughter who is in their teenage years when acne is most common and they are trying to make friends and not become the laughing stock of their class because of their looks. Until Next Time......................
