Be Ready

Alisande

"Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise,
and speak unto them all that I command thee:
be not dismayed at their faces,
lest I confound thee before them."
Jeremiah 1:17

Be Ready

Gird up thy loins and hear my command.
Multitudes are dying in this weary land.

Rise up, my child, and watch and pray.
I have a purpose for you in this last day.

Give ear to my voice and open your eyes
to the people you meet in fleshly disguise.

Don't look at their faces, only look for their heart
and you will understand what I want to impart.

Do not be weary, even if they seem not to care,
for inside a heart is where only I stare.

You may not always hear what they really are saying;
Just trust me, my child, and keep on praying....

Pray for wisdom and the right words to say.
Pray that my Spirit will guide the way.

Listen for the rustle in the mulberry tree,
and then you'll know it's not you, but me.

And when you are sure that I've made a way,
just be who you are and you won't be dismayed.

The words that you speak I will give to you,
and you will see clearly that my promise is true.

For once spoken, my word will accomplish my will,
and you will plainly see my word fulfilled.

Be ready, my child, for what I will do,
I'm with you, my child, and waiting to manifest in you.

"And let it be,
when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees,
that then thou shat bestir thyself:
for then shall the Lord go out before thee..."
