BeachOut Social Networking

Website Review

Ariana R. Cherry-Shearer
So do you think you have visited all of the social websites such as Facebook or MySpace which are widely used? Pretty soon, another social networking website will be available for you to meet new friends or meet with ones that you already have. BeachOut is coming out soon and will have a variety of tools and applications to make your session at BeachOut fun, entertaining and useful.

BeachOut will be offering a variety of ways to communicate with your friends such as message boards and other integrated chat applications. The special tool for the integrated chat applications will be the ability for chat to be automatically translated for others who speak using different languages. Users will also be able to hold live screen shows or have video chat sessions with one, two or more of their friends in a group. Users will have the ability to record, save and upload their video clips.

Members who join BeachOut will have a chance to create a video of themselves for other browsers to see. You will be able to watch videos of the members so that you can meet and greet new people who join. This can also be helpful for those who are networking, looking for new clients or even searching for job leads. During a browse search, users will get to search for new friends by using age, sex and location.

Photos on BeachOut will also have a scrollable photo search that can can be viewed from right to left, and you can zoom on those that are of interest to you. Other users will be able to leave both either typed or video comments. Comments will be able to be left on the live board which can also be shuffled by simply using your mouse to drag the comment anywhere you want on your page.

All users will have the opportunity to change and personalize their user-page background in any way that they choose by choosing the available images and backgrounds. For any member who wants to help donate to a variety of charities, BeachOut has also designed a number of products with images from the website and logo for members to purchase. All proceeds will go to designated charities.

So if you are looking for a new and upcoming social network and would like to use live video, BeachOut could become a new hang-out for you on the web.
