This is a pattern that I created based off my crocheted teddy bear pattern. This Pagan Goddess doll can be made with or without beads and is beautiful either way.
Materials:
Small amount of size 10 crochet cotton in desired color (about 1/4 ball)
Size C Hook
216 3mm seed beads in desired color
Large sewing needle
Fiberfill stuffing
Terms:
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
dec = decrease
inc = increase
st = stitch
**Note**
Using a small amount of white glue, stiffen the end of your crochet cotton. After it dries, string on all of the beads. Push the beads away from the work as you need thread, pull them up one at a time when needed.
To add a bead:
With loop on hook from previous stitch, bring a bead up against the worked piece. Insert hook through stitch, yarn over (keeping bead against work), pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through loops. This will secure the bead into the sc stitch.
**Note**
Entire doll is worked in rounds, do not join. leave at least a 5-6" tail on each piece, these will be used for sewing the doll together later.

Post a CommentIt is clearly her own pattern. It is a freely used PUBLIC design. Its EVERYWHERE, jewelery, pottery, crochet, felt, tattoos etc etc etc
It is not a copyrighted image.
Just because something looks similar to something else doesn't make it a rip off.
All this SOU has done is copied & pasted their comment....I definitely smell a troll....
I agree... The karma you will receive for making false accusations against me and other crochet artists will be notable. I have found the same comment on other people's patterns. This is defamation of character and is appalling.
Just because you change a few stitches does not make the pattern yours...
One word... KARMA...
I'm getting really sick and tired of people claiming I stole this person's pattern. I did no such think and I am insulted that people accuse me of it. I invented this pattern myself, and it was based off my teddy bear pattern. If anyone doesn't believe me, I have two witnesses who were in the same room watching me the day I created it. Goddess dolls are obviously going to have some similarity to each other, but this is not a copy, this is my own original pattern, which I have chosen to share because I was unable to find any online, and I knew others were looking as well.
Copyright infringement IS serious business, but so is accusing people of it with absolutely no factual information to back up the claim.
It looks like a copy off of Nancy Robinson's Crochet Goddess from Nancy's Nanlets. Her pattern is copyright 1999-2000. www.nanlets.com I don't believe the pattern is still there but if you were to send her a photo she would tell you this is a copy. In her words and I quote. "This copyrighted pattern is not for posting on other web sites and is not to be sold! It is a gift (or was) If Goddesses are made for retail sale, permission is not granted to market them or on the internet in any way shape or form"... I was lucky enough to get a copy of the pattern in '03 and just typed those words off that copy. Copyright infringement is pretty serious business. Just thought I'd try to save you any trouble.
