Beagle Breeders in North Carolina

North Carolina Beagle Breeders

Randy Inman
There several good Beagle breeders in North Carolina. I will include a Web site link for each of the North Carolina Beagle breeders in the sources at the end of the article. I have also done a Better Business Bureau check online for each one I list. I won't include a breeder with too many complaints. I did the check for complaints on 7-16-2010. To the best of my knowledge all of these North Carolina Beagle breeders are still in business.

Beagles are one of my favorite breeds of dogs. They are cute as heck and don't get huge and eat you out of house and home. As a North Carolina resident I decided to list some Beagle breeders in the state for interested Beagle lovers.

Sunshine Acres Beagles

Sunshine Acres Beagles is in Monroe North Carolina, which is near Charlotte. They are happy to ship via the PetSafe or PetFirst services. If there is a color of Beagle that you like then you can probably find it at Sunshine Acres Beagles. The breeder has been in business since 1990 uses AKC DNA tested sires. Their purebred Beagles come from American Kennel Bloodlines.

Sasnett Kennels

Sasnett Kennels has over 60 years of breeding experience. Sasnett Kennels is owned by Buck Sasnett and is located in Kinston North Carolina. Give them a call at 252-527-2675. Not only is this a North Carolina Beagle breeder they also sell Puggles. Sasnett Kennels sells both adult Beagles and puppies.

High Rock Beagles

High Rock Beagles is located in Lexington North Carolina. The Beagles here are the "Weir Creek Beagles or Hounds" and are superior rabbit jumpers! These dogs are bred for their hunting ability but I am sure like all Beagles they are a great pet to have around the home.

Wood's Weir Creek Kennel

Wood's Weir Creek Kennel not surprisingly raised more of the Weir Creek Beagles in North Carolina. Wood's is in the NW part of the state and not far from the Virginia state line. Wood's Weir Creek Kennel offers stud service to selected females as well as selling Beagles.

Whether you want a Beagle for a house pet or want one to help hunt rabbits, these are delightful dogs. However some people find their barking a little annoying in the middle of the night. Not that my neighbor or his Beagle care lol. If you have never owned a Beagle then do your research. If you want to buy a Beagle in North Carolina then I hope this was of some service. Your dog body language is one my favorites. (The football and fishing articles never really had a chance.)
