Beansoup Aprons has come out with a new line of aprons that serve as the perfect memento to honor your child's helping hand in the kitchen during the holiday season. Although it is a honor for a child be given the title of a "kitchen assistant", it means so much more for a child to receive an apron that marks the transition from baby to "little helper". An apron symbolizes your appreciation for their big help and acknowledging that he/she has a place in your holiday cooking celebrations.
As I was looking through numerous cooking websites, I came across this wonderful company called Beansoup Aprons. The company has two complete child-sized apron lines perfect for children ages two to ten years old. These two apron styles are called Chef's Aprons and Cobbler's Aprons. The Chef's Aprons are straight aprons that cover most of the body, from the knees up to the neck. This style has a strap around the neck and around the waist to fit comfortably on the hard worker. The second choice is the cobbler's aprons, which reminds me of my grandmother's aprons from the 1980's. This style of apron reminds one of a sleeveless shirt that has three large pockets on the bottom.
Since my niece who is now four years old loves pockets, we purchased her the cobbler's apron. Most of the stores are located in California, so my family purchased online at the official store. Each style had a few color selections to choose from and a few funky designs that were perfect for children under the age of ten years old. After opening the box and pulling out the purchase, the craftsmanship was astonishing. Each 100% cotton apron has double-stitch bonding which provides the durability and adjustability needed for a tiny helper in the kitchen. Besides the pockets, the best part of the apron was that each one is completely machine washable. We have washed my nieces a million times now and it still looks absolutely new which is remarkable considering her creations in the kitchen.
Our purchase of the Beansoup Apron was a perfect gift that keeps giving. Spending time in the kitchen with your little one creates such a wonderful bonding time that will be remembered for years to come. Not only does the BeanSoup Apron keep your little one clean while helping in the kitchen, it is also a memento for the future years to come.
