Beating the Heat
In the Pool
It's hot and hazy
And I'm feeling lazy
And I'm feeling lazy
Don't ask me to do or to meet
It's time for me to beat the heat
Head myself to the pool
Is my number one rule
Don't try to coax me out
If you do I will probably pout
There is nothing quite like it
All I do is sit and be quiet
I can splash if I'm hot
Or have some fun with a tot
The drinks are ready for sippin
Let the kids go slidin and slippin
I'll just sit here drinkin
A cool drink and do some thinkin
It's hot and it's hazy and
I'm feeling good and lazy
