Beautiful Aliens on Earth - an Earth Day Poem

Paul Rance
Encrusted crystals
Not even aware of Earth Day
Outlived the dinosaurs
Knowingly, see our feet of clay.
Lives without pretension
Here, maybe, long after we're gone
Our moments a flicker in time?
While the 'dumb' insects always shone.
