The way you break her heart
How the promises you made
Were lies right from the start
You don't see the pain in her eyes
But I see them every day
When will you come to realize
You need to find a different way
Do you know the heart that breaks
And cries out in the night
I feel that heart beating
You hurting her isn't right
Can you feel the insecurities
That you so callously gave
I feel them every day
They live in how she behaves
I say you don't deserve her
I'll protect her from your pain
Because she's precious in my eyes
I won't let you hurt her again
So go about your life of hate
And make another selfish choice
She won't be around
You won't hear her beautiful voice
You will never know
How wonderful it could have been
Because you have destroyed all of it
With your life of sin
And you will never look
Into those beautiful eyes
Because you filled them with tears
With all your empty lies
You will never feel that heart beat
As you hold her in your arms
Because you have broken it
And caused her so much harm
But I will love her
And help her through each day
And I will hold her
As you just walk away
She's strong, she doesn't need you
I know she'll be just fine
For I will never leave her
This Beautiful Daughter, is mine.
