Beautiful Hair with Finesse Clean + Simple Hypoallergenic Hairspray

Susan Slade
A few weeks back I found the 'New' Finesse Clean + Simple Hypoallergenic Hairspray on sale at Walgreens, for $1.99, and free after sending a 'mail-in rebate'. I couldn't pass on this great offer.

The bottle is very plain and simple. It is white with green, and black lettering. It states that it has a 'flexible hold'. It is non irritating, free of allergens, dyes, sulfates, and is dermatologist tested.

The bottle is a pump style and contains 8.5 fluid ounces (251 ml).

So I waited until I washed, dried, and styled my hair in a French twist. I then held the Finesse Clean + Simple Flexible Hold Hairspray about 6 to 8 inches from my head, and gave it a good spray. With the White Rain I normally use, it often takes 3 lots of spraying to hold well.

I checked it after 5 minutes, and it was still a little wet. I then tried it about 10 minutes, and it had a good hold. I found a couple of places that were still soft, so I did a quick second spray. After waiting again, I checked my hair, and it stayed well.

It wasn't as hard as the White Rain, but it didn't move out of place. We have had quite a lot of windy days recently, so I wanted to see how my hair stayed. It didn't move at all. I had thought that as it was a 'flexible hold', that it might move.

I take down the back of my hair at night, and then pin it back up in the morning, and spray the back. I give the top a light spray if needed.

I loved this hairspray, and was really surprised at how long it lasted. It certainly goes further than White Rain. It doesn't build up in the hair, like Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray Extreme Hold does. I find that I can go four to five days before having to wash my hair, and go through all the rigmarole, of putting gel in it, blow drying it, using the curling iron, teasing it, and then arranging it.

When I take my hair down after using Finesse, it is easy to brush out, and I only loose a few strands of hair. It is lightweight, and doesn't weigh your hair down.

I love the fact that it is for sensitive skin, and that it is gentle on your skin. It contains no parabens or gluten.

I am heading back to the drugstores to buy more of this great hairspray. I did get my rebate check for $1.99 in the mail recently, and can't wait to purchase another bottle.
