The Mission Inn
The Mission Inn is a historic hotel that has been the center of downtown Riverside since 1876. It has a grand history of hosting U.S. Presidents, and being the location of some celebrity weddings during it's hey day. The Mission Inn Chapels are breathtaking. The St. Francis of Assisi Chapel features seven authentic Tiffany stained glass windows, an 18 carat gold leaf Rayas Altar, and beautiful hand made Mexican Mahogany doors. It is truly a masterpiece and would be an elegant backdrop to any wedding.
The St. Cecilia Chapel is also a treasure for weddings of 12 guests or less. It features a beautiful wedding alter from 1740 and an intimate yet regal setting for a ceremony. The Mission Inn also offers majestic backgrounds for wedding photos and can also be the site of your reception. Benedict Castle
Benedict Castle, also known as the 'Castillo Isabella" is truly a unique wedding location site. Modeled after early European castles this castle was build in 1922. It features beautiful landscaping and two locations for your ceremony: The Grand Ballroom or the Castillo Isabella Courtyard. Benedict Castle also offers wedding reception packages that include catering. On-site, Award Winning Chef Brian Hammond has created a variety of meal choices that would be suitable for any size event.
Edwards Mansion
1900's Styled Victorian Architecture is the setting for ceremonies at Edwards Mansion. This historic mansion was built in the late 1890's by James S. Edwards an honored area citizen and citrus grower. Here you can have your ceremony at one of the many garden gazebos or in the mansion's turn of the century wedding chapel. The grounds and mansion are full of charm and elegance. The mansion features on-site receptions sites including the greenhouse and Edwardian Suite are also available. Couples can even spend their wedding night in one of the on-site bridal suites. The Edwards Mansion offers on-site catering and floral services to assist you in planning your event at their location.
