Was as skinny as a rail,
And barely clad in skimpy clothes
That never went on sale.
Is that was beauty REALLY is,
Or is it MORE than that?
Can a girl be gorgeous
If her belly isn't flat?
Society insists that girls
Must be a certain size:
A tiny waist and ample breasts,
And skinny arms and thighs...
But I contend that beauty is
Revealed in what she GIVES.
It's not her SIZE that matters.
It's the way in which she LIVES.
Beauty is unveiled in acts
Of kindness toward others.
A girl is gorgeous if she's kind
To strangers, friends, and brothers.
It's not about her jean size,
Of the softness of her skin.
It's all about her SWEETNESS,
For her beauty lies WITHIN!
