Beauty Bests

"Whenever times are bad -- and the past eight years have been horrific -- it's nice to have a happy subject to write about, something harmless and nice to look at." An amazing, but true, fact is that every second someone searches for better products. The reason is wonderfully simple, millions of men and women want products that work. The following are my tried and true beauty bests.

* Scent: Nothing two sweet. I like floral scents like lavander and rose. I like Elizabeth Arden's 5thAvenue. It is modern and semi-oriental floral scent. For parties, I put a little twist into my evenings by starting with Issey Miyake eau de parfum and Farala to freshen up.

* Bath essentials: I like Amber's Lemon Aid and Lavander Lush bathing soaps.

* Makeup musts: Glycolic acid to moisturize face, mauve lipstick and brown eyeshadow. I especially like the stay-on lipstick of Estee Lauder.

* Face essentials: My advice for those with oriental looks are Shiseido Eyebrow Liner,GuerlainTerracotta for defining the eyefolds, and Origins Zero Oil to keep face looking matte by preventing the crumbling of face powder.
