Beauty Blinds Me

In All that We See

Nini Fire
Beauty blinds me, ugliness blinds me, life blinds me.
Is what we have considered to be human instinct actually human habit?
Why still do I see a beast when I look upon you, wobbling, hairy and repulsive.
What do I know of your ordeal, what do I know of your old deals.

Beauty blinds me, you look so perfect. Your skin shines softly in the moonlight, your hair waving and flowing about. Your eyes pull me in, they're deep dark brown.
Your voice even echoe's a perfect beauty, and all around you girls gather round.

Beauty blinds me, so you pulled the rug. Beauty blinds me, so you took my heart and tugged.
So you faked perfection so you knew the reaction. So you used a gift and betrayed the heavens.

Beauty blinds me, so who did I not see? It was a normal person with a big nose and bad teeth.
Beauty blinds me, so I ignorantly turned away from him. So he brought me things, so he took my sorrow away.
But I show no thanks for beauty blinds me.

Beauty stay away, forever and a day. I see the beauty now, as it falls over me.
I can see all of your disguise, but I never do forget. But I never do stop being aghast at your repulsiveness sir. But I never do stop trusting your good looks sir. But I never do stop learning from a gray haired man sir.

Beauty you cannot blind me, I have the one who binds me. Yes he has beauty and that's what I wanted, yes he has beauty inside and he loves me to pieces. Yes he will hold me and won't break my heart, yes he will help me make a fresh start. Yes he gives me hope and loves me too. No he is not perfect but he's a dream come true.

Oh wonderful you, your beauty shines right through. You pull my attraction at site, you whispers and hugs a delight.
Oh beauty swoon me over under the wading moon.

I understand the ways, though I'll never grow out of this phase. The most I can do is pray and understand.
At least I've got my man.

Beauty never fade away, but stop decieving us for a day, or forever.
