Beauty: In the Eye of the Beholder
How Do the Things that We Consider Beautiful Affect Our Daily Lives?
Is it a compilation of features that makes a person beautiful? Is it the physical figure of them, or of their body language? Is it the knowledge that they possess, the facts that make them interesting, or the type of personality that you prefer?
Beauty can be found anywhere. It is, truly, in the eye of the beholder. Whether a man is attracted to a woman because of her personality, or the dimples when she smiles. A comforting view of a painting can yield relaxing effects in a person; it can be beautiful to them.
Beauty is found in a flower that blooms and rises up toward the sun. It can be found in a child's laughter, the playfulness of an animal and their owner, or courage for any task at hand.
Many people view things in many different ways. If you go through life with an observant outlook on things, you can begin to notice the things that people want for happiness. This can be a positive improvement in multiple ways, such as shopping for the right Christmas or birthday present.
However you choose to look at it, not everyone will see the same beauty as you. As one may find comfort and beauty in a thunderstorm, others will get their fulfillment and delight out on a breezy summer day.
Take the time out everyday to ask yourself: What is beautiful to me?
You may find that things you were mundane with before will come back with a vivid, excited difference. You may look at a picture on the wall differently, or brainstorm on how to move your apartment around to make it look beautiful. Changing around furniture and cleaning can also change the energy in the room, the atmosphere. It can help you breathe easier, and feel more at peace.
Having a job with a beautiful atmosphere can make your workday seem more happy and productive. Living in a beautiful, up kept house will leave you more refreshed, invigorated. Beauty is something that enlightens life, when the miserable is getting a person down, they can count on a memorabilia, or thought, to remind them of the beauty that they have once encountered, keeping the bad times from becoming worse times.
So, really, what is beauty to everyone? Especially when it's different to each individual? It's knowing that it is everlasting, and something that will motivate you with more energy and a happier mood. What it is, to be exact, is only in the eye of the beholder.

Writing is a window, an escape. It's the one thing that can take something apart, while simultaneously putting it together. It's a passion, an awakening, and something to keep motivation flowing. View profile
