Beauty of Living in South Florida

I live in South Florida and it is one of the most tropical places I have seen. Coming from South America it felt just perfect with the warm climate and life style. I can go into a local supermarket and get fresh mangoes and Caribbean fruits. This is beautiful to me I enjoy eating Jerk Chicken sometimes which is also popular here this is a Jamaican dish. Seafood which is always fresh from the ocean and some restaurants are on the ocean. One of the most pleasant things that I discovered when I first moved here was also the Spanish food. Probably one of the most delicious tasting, smelling and exotic foods I have eaten.

When I first started in college over ten years ago in Miami I was not very interested in food back then but I was very captivated by the beauty of the homes and the green trees that are spread across the Miami and Coral Gables area. After I left South America I moved to New Jersey there I graduated from High school and then I moved to Miami to attend Florida International University. On one of my first days here I felt like I was in another country with the terracotta colors on the homes and the many small business. There were beauty spas on every corner and also small coffee shops, the radio had Spanish music and on the television were at least three Spanish stations. I felt that this was my new home with in days of being here.

The excitement of this town is hard to measure from the remarkable beaches to so many great shopping malls and stores. The fact that there was no snow or it was not going to get cold to the temperatures I had experienced in New Jersey area made me even happier to be living here. I started using more sunscreen and had a much happier outlook on my life and the future after being in Florida for a few years. I would advise anyone who needs either a home to buy, a place to raise their children or some where to take a vacation this is the place. I wake up everyday and just looking out my window and it lifts my mood and I feel happy to be alive.

The real estate prices in South Florida have dropped significantly since the recession and the mortgage crisis that started some where around 2007. Now is a perfect opportunity to get your retirement dream house and enjoy this beautiful state.
