White tea contains potent antioxidants that improve skin tone and quality by boosting cell rejuvenation. It will also help your skin stay looking younger longer.

Only make as much as you need for one treatment, unless otherwise instructed. These recipes do not contain chemicals to prevent the natural ingredients from souring.

Soothing & Cooling White Tea Eye Treatments

Steep 1 white tea bag in boiling water for 5 -8 minutes. Dip cotton pads in plain, brewed white tea. Place pads in a small, covered contained in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes. Place one pad over each closed eye and leave on 15 minutes.

White Tea Bath Salts

3 c salts (Dead Sea, Kosher, or Epsom)

3 white tea bags

Combine your favorite salt or combination of salts, open teabags, and empty contents over salts. Mix well. Store in an unbreakable container with a tight-fitting lid. To use: Add ½ c of salts to running bath water and mix well to dissolve salts completely before entering the tub.

White Tea Toner

2/3 c witch hazel

1/3 c distilled water

2 white tea bags

Boil distilled water in large glass measuring cup in microwave. Steep tea until water has cooled, at least 5 - 8 minutes. Discard tea bags. Add witch hazel. Mix well. Pour into a clean bottle or container with a tight fitting lid. Shake well before each use. Apply with a cotton ball or pad. Store in refrigerator between uses to retain freshness. Keeps approximately 7-10 days.

White Tea Lip Balm

1 white tea bag

1 T sweet almond oil

1 t honey

1 capsule Vitamin E oil

Combine almond oil and honey in microwave safe bowl. Pierce Vitamin E capsule and add oil. Put teabag on top of ingredients and turn several times to coat. Microwave until the mixture just begins to boil, turning the tea bag several times while heating. (Bowl may also be heated in a pan of water on a stovetop.) Turn teabag several times after removing from microwave. Cool mixture for five minutes, turning teabag several times. Squeeze teabag until you can no longer draw liquid. You may want to strain through a fine sieve to remove any pieces of tea that may have escaped. Set aside to cool completely. When cool, transfer to a small portable plastic container or tin with tight-fitting lid.
