I'll be the first to admit I have oily and acne-prone skin. I tend to break out really bad during that time of the month and I also get a few blemishes here and there. I also have a very oily T-zone (my nice and forehead). I definitely get a mid-day shine on my face and often find myself washing my face at work just to get rid of the oil. But even after washing my face it just gets oily again. Because of my problems with oily skin, I can never use a moisturizer. Even some oil-free moisturizers give me oil problems. This time around I wanted to find a moisturizer that would hydrate my skin while keeping my oil problems at bay.
I often keep up with the best skincare trends and one of my favorite ways to do that is to check out BlissWorld.com, Bliss Skincare's website. Bliss carries its own products and other popular and high-end brands as well. I love Bliss products because they always seem to work for me. So when I saw the Bliss No Zit Sherlock Oil Control Moisturizer I knew I had to try it. According to Bliss, the product is a calming formula that helps regulate oil product. It also doesn't dry skin out or irritate it. It also contains 2 percent salicylic acid that helps break up dead skin cells that linger on the skin's surface. It seemed like a great product, so I purchased the Bliss No Zit Sherlock Oil Control Moisturizer directly from the Bliss website for $32.
The day after I received the product in the mail I immediately decided to try it out. Usually moisturizer works best under makeup and when applied in the morning, so that's when I tried it. I squeezed the cream out of the tube and rubbed it between my hands. I then rubbed it over my freshly-cleansed face, focusing on my T-zone and other problem areas. The Bliss No Zit Sherlock Oil Control Moisturizer has a clean smell to it and it goes on smoothly and doesn't clump up. It also leaves your face feeling fresh and moisturized. I continued with my normal makeup routine. Throughout the day my oil stayed away and after using the Bliss No Zit Sherlock Oil Control Moisturizer for a week my acne started disappearing.
Over all I would rate the Bliss No Zit Sherlock Oil Control Moisturizer a 5/5. It's a great moisturizer that doesn't disappoint at all. I would highly recommend it to anyone with oily or pimple-prone skin.
