My main skin concern is my pore size. My pores are often clogged with dirt and other makeup debris, which makes my pores seem larger and unsightly. I also have combination skin. My nose is very oily, along with my forehead. On the other hand, my cheeks and chin are very dry.
One of my favorite brands is Bliss. Bliss has a large variety of different products that help with different skin care needs. I've been a long time Bliss fan ever since I tried my first product, the Bliss Steep Clean Deep Pore Cleanser. Instantly, I fell in love with Bliss. The only thing I love about Bliss is the quality of their products. Bliss is considered a high-end brand, but their prices are always decent too. While I was browsing the Bliss website for products that would help with my pores and pore size, I came across the Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish. The product claims a lot too. It says it "gently exfoliates for radiant, youthful skin. Refines skin texture. Clears and minimizes the appearance of pores." On top of that, it's Bliss's best selling exfoliator. I decided to purchase the Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish from Sephora for $30 for a 4.2 oz. bottle.
When I brought the product home from the store, I immediately wanted to try it out. In order to apply, you need to cleanse your face first. Then you apply a pea-sized amount of the product to damp skin and scrub around your face gently. Bliss suggests paying extra close attention to dull or clogged areas of your face, especially your nose and surrounding area. After applying the product, I let it sit on my face for about a minute or two before I rinsed it off with warm water and followed with both a toner and a moisturizer.
While using the product, I noticed it has that signature Bliss smell to it. It's very crisp and clean and has a light scent to it. The product has little microbeads in it that help exfoliate your skin too. When applying the product, I paid extra attention to my nose. The Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish really helped unclog my pores, even my largest pores. Additionally, after washing the product off my face, my face felt light and smooth. My skin also felt unclogged and moisturized as well. I don't know if the product ever made my pores smaller, but it definitely unclogged them and made it easier to deal with.
Overall, I would rate the Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish a 4/5. It's simply a great exfoliator that actually works at cleaning your skin and unclogging your pores. It's also well worth the price. For $30 for a two and a half month supply, you can't beat it. However, it may still be out of some beauty budgets, which is where I deducted a point.
