I immediately went to Urban Decay's website. I love Urban Decay for a variety of different reasons, but mainly because they have high-quality products and are vegan. I own a lot of Urban Decay products and can proudly say I would recommend any of them. So when I needed a product that would hold my makeup, I immediately turned to Urban Decay. On their website I went to the "Face" section. The first product that caught my eye was the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray.
According to Urban Decay's product description, the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray uses "innovative oil control that both absorbs excess sebum and controls surface shine." It seemed like the exact product I was looking for. I decided to invest $29 in the product so that I could try it out. I ordered it directly from the Urban Decay website.
Upon receiving the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray, I wanted to try it out as soon as possible. I decided to try it out in the morning after I apply my makeup for the day. In order to use the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray you simply spray it over your makeup to set it. So I went ahead and applied my foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss. I then generously sprayed the product over my face and dried it in front of a fan for about a minute. Now came the real test...would it last all day?
I went through about half the day before I checked my makeup in the mirror. Surprisingly when I looked at my reflection, my makeup was still there intact. Nothing had smudged or budged. I was really shocked, usually my makeup is almost gone by noon. I then checked my makeup again at 4PM (the end of my school day) and noticed, once again, that my makeup was still there!
Over all, I would easily rate the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray a 5/5. If you have oily skin, this product is the perfect solution. It keeps oil from building up on your face and it helps keep your makeup from smearing. I would easily recommend this product to anyone who has problems with oily skin and wearing makeup.
