Beauty Product Review: Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Urban Decay is an extremely popular high-end cosmetics company. This brand has been around since 1996, but recently Urban Decay has come out with some really great products that have continued to put their name on the map. I'm a girl who swears by Urban Decay's products. I absolutely love their eyeshadows, and of course, their eyeshadow primer potion, which helps keep color in its place for hours. Urban Decay also has high ethical standards when it comes to animal testing. Many of their products are completely vegan and they claim to not test on animals ever. In fact, their awesome makeup brushes are 100 percent synthetic and not made out of animal hair like many brushes.

One problem I've always seemed to have with makeup is that it never lasts very long on my face. I'll spend a good 30 minutes applying my makeup, including foundation, blush, lip gloss, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. However, half way through my night out on the town my makeup starts to rub off, especially when I'm dancing and I start to sweat a little bit. On top of that, I wear contact lenses, which makes my eyes water more than usual. This causes me to sport the raccoon look, which, if you're a girl, you know all too well what I'm talking about. My mascara will run a little, my eyeliner with smudge, and my eyeshadow with start to smear. Needless to say it's not very attractive and I start to look more like a raccoon than anything else. I've been searching and searching for makeup that won't run or smear, but the truth is that even the best makeup will smear due to sweat and watery eyes.

Recently Urban Decay came out with a great new product called All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. When they debuted it, I received an email about it and immediately checked out. It seemed like a great product for me. According to Urban Decay, the All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is a mist that you spray over your face after you've applied your makeup. Urban Decay claims that the product helps prevent "loss of color, melting, sliding, caking, cracking, excessive shin, fading blush, dropping eyeshadow, and lip color disappearance." To me it seemed like the perfect product, so I decided to make the $29 commitment and buy the 4.0 fl oz. bottle of Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.

Luckily I received it in the mail during the day and was able to use it before I went out that night. I followed the directions carefully on the bottle to make sure I used it correctly. To use the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray, you simply apply your makeup as normal and then spray it over your face a few times. I also sat in front of a fan for a few minutes to make sure it dried on my face. I've heard from numerous beauty advisors that you should let setting spray or mists dry on your face first, and I believe this really helped.

That night I was surprised with the results. My makeup stayed on my face through my 8-hour night out. There was no smudging, smearing, or color loss anywhere on my face. I looked great and felt great since I was no longer sporting the raccoon look.

Over all I would rate the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray a 5/5. It's the perfect product for anyone who goes dancing or is planning for a fun night out whether it's in the hot summer heat or on a cold windy night.
