Beauty Secrets Using Baby Oil

Baby Oil Isn't for Babies Anymore

Baby oil is a wonderful product to use for babies. It is a mineral oil, with aloe vera and vitamin E. It is used to prevent dryness to the skin. It is the product that we all have trusted with our babies. This fact alone, backs this product with great respect. The price is very affordable, ranging between $2.75 and $4.00 depending on the size and brand name. I am about to share with you four of my secrets to cut back on cost and tips for your beauty.

One, my personal use of baby oil is removing my eye makeup. Spending money on eye makeup remover can be costly at times. Prices can range from $5.00 to $25.00. The sizes of the remover usually last for two weeks or less. Baby oil will immediately take mascara off ,gently without irritating the eyes. Just apply a few drops on a soft cotton ball and the job is complete. This also saves you money in the meantime.

The second great use of baby oil is used in the replacement of serum for your hair. Serum is expensive and is sold in small amounts from 6oz. to 12oz. It only takes a small amount to apply to the hair, so the length of use is increased. I use baby oil as my backup serum. I definitely don't want to be without it on a hot humid day. Apply a couple of drops in the palm of your hand, rub them together and gently apply to the areas of your hair. Works every time.

The third tip is to use baby oil on your cuticles after manicuring your nails. This will allow moisture to set in to keep cuticles from splitting. Leaving your hands feeling smooth and gentle.

My last secret that I will share with you is using baby oil in place of shaving cream. It will make your shaving experience much easier and leaving your legs feeling as soft as a baby. I hope that you have enjoyed my four tips on saving yourself money on beauty products. Things do not have to cost a lot to work. It is usually the little things that work even better.

Remember it's not for babies anymore.

these are great tips, but just substitute olive oil or any natural oil instead of using a petroleum based product as it can clog pores and isn't the most natural of choices, otherwise awesome suggestions!
