Beauty Tips Using Vaseline

Vaseline is a Great Moisturizer

Vaseline is a product that is familiar to us all. it's a brand name for petroleum jelly. It certainly is not an expensive product. Could it be that it works just as well or even better than many of the store-bought items that claim to make us look better in some way, shape or form? Following is a list of some beauty tips using Vaseline.

Eye moisturizer. Rub a small amount of Vaseline around your eyes at night. Try this for a couple of weeks and you will probably notice that the small wrinkles around your eyes are much less noticeable.

Lip balm. Vaseline works great as a lip balm. It doesn't have many of those harsh chemicals that store-bought lipsticks have that tend to burn or irritate our lips. If you want a bit of flavor you can mix peppermint oil in with the Vaseline. And if you apply it to your lips at bedtime, your lips will be incredibly moist when you wake up in the morning.

Foot moisturizer. While in the shower, rub your feet with a pumice stone to remove dead skin. After you've dried off, liberally apply Vaseline on your feet and cover with socks. Vaseline is a great moisturizer. If you sleep with socks on, in the morning your feet will be very soft and ready to be shown off for all to see!

Hand moisturizer. Same idea as the foot moisturizer. Rub a liberal amount of Vaseline on your hands, especially the backs of your hands. Apply thin cotton gloves and sleep with them on. Check out how baby soft your hands are in the morning.

Keep lipstick off teeth. How many of us have seen women with lipstick beautifully in place only to notice it's also on their teeth when they speak? I'm sure this has happened to most of us. You can use Vaseline to prevent this from happening. Just smooth a little bit of Vaseline on your front teeth before you apply lipstick. This will keep the lipstick on your lips and not on your teeth.

Make up remover. Vaseline removes make up quickly. Just apply a small amount to face and rub in, then wipe Vaseline off using a tissue.

A tip when using Vaseline as a moisturizer is if you add a tiny bit of water to the Vaseline, it will not be nearly as thick when applied to your skin.
