Beauty Treatments After Pregnancy

Non Invasive Beauty Treatments

Motherhood is the best thing that will ever happen to a woman but it does have its disadvantages. There are various unsightly things that we have to deal with after giving birth. One thing that really gets me worried after giving birth is having uneven skin tone on my face and on my body. I also have few noticeable stretch marks on my belly that makes me think twice before wearing a bikini aside from the darkened areas on that part of my body. My pregnancy also gave me multiple darkened warts on my face, neck and body. I think I don't have problems with my varicose veins because after giving birth to my baby it just disappeared and only the dark marks where it once was remained. After a few months it also faded away and when I look at my legs I'm just relieved that it is back to normal. I have done some research and I found out that there can be something done with these common post-partum beauty problems. These are the common list of non-invasive post partum treatments. Most pregnant women develop tiny polyps or skin tags as well as flat warts all over the face, neck and body especially on folds such as armpits and under the breast. You see that was one of my problems solved because I had it removed. Electrocautery is the treatment of choice and it is safe to be done immediately after giving birth. For pigmentation treatments topical bleaching creams containing licorice and arbutin may be started after giving birth to lightened darkened areas but stronger depigmenting creams containing hydroquinone, Retin-A and oral whitening tablets should be used after breastfeeding has been completed. A mother must not compromise her baby's health for the sake of beauty.

Most pregnant women also experience thinning of hair. This condition is known as telogen effluvium and is caused by a shift of the hair to telogen or resting phase. The treatment to be done if hair thinning is quite alarming is Mesohair. This treatment involves injecting vitamins into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss. This can be done for at least 10 sessions preferably once a week. The other treatment is rejuvenation laser it uses low level laser to stimulate the scalp by dilating blood vessels and increasing circulation to the hair follicles. This can be done preferable twice a week for 20 sessions and can be started after breastfeeding. I always worry about my stretch marks and I've even wondered can I ever flaunt my navel or my tummy anymore? It could also be one of the reasons why wearing a bikini could be difficult for someone who had already given birth like me. Nowadays there is already stretch mark treatment available. Carboxytherapy which involves injecting small amount of carbon dioxide just below the surface of the skin is the right choice. It allows formation and restructuring of the collagen matrix. Apparently, weekly sessions are recommended for a minimum of 10 sessions.

One inevitable result of pregnancy is that you will gain weight. The unsightly bulges will really change your mood especially if you are used to your slender body. Excess weight gain during pregnancy can cause looseness of skin. I know this because like most mothers out there I've experience this. I've not gain excess weight during pregnancy but there is looseness of skin on my belly. Treatment for excess fat and looseness of skin is mesotherapy.
