Simple Beauty Tips for Everyday Products or Food Items Already in the Home
Apple Cider Vinegar; This can be used as for a few different things beauty wise. In hair, mix a small amount of apple cider vinegar with three times the amount of water and pour onto hair then rub into your scalp as well. This helps to take away all the extra dead cell skin off of your scalp also aids in removing the built up residue from your hair caused by the over use of hair products . Also use this to help get rid of age spots, just dab on area and leave on overnight. For softer and smoother skin pat onto your face before bedtime and leave on overnight.
Whole Milk; This can be used a couple different ways. One way is to reduce redness and inflammation on your face. Just dip a cloth in cold whole milk and dab all over face then leave on for twenty minutes. Also you can make a mask using a small amount of milk(ΒΌ cup) and an even smaller amount of brown sugar (1 tablespoons) this is very good for cleaning out your pores.
Coffee Grounds; One of the best facial scrubs ever, I swear by this. Take a very small amount of used coffee grounds (about a tablespoon) and rub vigorously all over your face and neck as well. Will leave slight red marks for about ten minutes but when done your skin will be smoother and more youthful looking. You can also use to scrub off the dead skin on your feet instead of the expensive foot scrubs it works just as good.
Avocados; Take an avocado and mash it up completely then rub all over your face leave on for maybe three minutes ad then wash off. Very good for dry skin, will also aid in making blemishes disappear.
Vodka; Can be used as an astringent to your face. Take a cotton ball that has been soaked in vodka and rub all over face to cleanse and tighten your pores. Also can be used to aid in healthy hair. Take a very small amount of vodka about one tablespoon and put that into your shampoo bottle if used regularly this can help to remove the toxins from your hair and actually will stimulate new healthy hair growth.
Eggs; For shiny hair, beat two eggs (three if you have longer hair) in a bowl then use after shampooing your hair. Leave the eggs in your hair for two to four minutes and then rinse out but rinse with luke warm water so you don't start to slightly cook the eggs in your hair.
Cucumbers; Help to reduce the swollen skin underneath your eyes. Skin and cut a couple pieces and then put them underneath your eyes and leave them there for twenty minutes.
Olive Oil; Can be use as a moisturizer and if massaged generously into the skin on your face it can help to erase existing wrinkles and will help prevent new wrinkles from appearing.
Potatoes; These can be used to take away the blackness underneath your eyes that is caused from being tired and not getting enough sleep. Just skin and cut a potato and slice of a couple small pieces and put underneath your eyes as you would cucumber slices and leave on for twenty minutes.
Toothpaste; If you put toothpaste on your pimples it will dry them out and help them to disappear in half the time it would normally take.
Mayonnaise; will help add moisture when applied to really dry hair. Just massage into your hair making sure you get all of it and then take a plastic bag (any old store bag will do) then leave on for fifteen minutes. You will want to rinse your hair twice afterwords.
Beer; Adds volume and some shine to your hair. Once you have washed and conditioned your hair take an entire can of beer and pour onto your hair then massage and wash off with cold to luke warm water.
Hopefully these tips can help some of you to not only look better but help save you money as well. Remember not all skin types are the same and some might work better for some people than others but most of these tips can help aide almost anyone's beauty regimen.
