Beavercreek Chiropractor Appointed to State Board
Beavercreek Chiropractic Clinic Director Appointed by Governor
Palkowski is the director of Beavercreek Chiropractic Clinic. He graduated in 1981, Magna Cum Laude, from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate studies at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and has been in private practice since 1983.
Chiropractic physicians are highly specialized in the treatment of injuries and disorders related to the musculoskeletal system. While most people associate the chiropractor with back injuries, a Doctor of Chiropractic also treats muscle strain, injuries of the extremities as well as arthritis and sinus and allergy conditions.
Established in 1975, the Ohio State Chiropractic Board is the overseeing body responsible for examining and licensing chiropractic professionals. The agency is also charged with directing regulations set in place under the Ohio Revised Code and the board-regulated Administrative Code.
"The job of the Board is to protect the health and best interests of the citizens of Ohio and regulate the chiropractic profession by setting high standards for licensure and fairly and consistently enforcing those standards," Palkowski said. "I consider it an honor to be chosen from the many distinguished chiropractic professionals in Ohio and to carry on the tradition of those who have served the governor's office in this position."
Palkowski also noted that his new duties will have no affect on the level of care delivered to his patients at Beavercreek Chiropractic Clinic. In September of 2010, Dr. Nathan Baxter joined the practice as an associate. "In my absence, Dr. Baxter will carry on with my utmost confidence," Palkowski said. "Patients can rest assured that I will make every effort to notify them in advance when Board obligations will be affecting their care."
Beavercreek Chiropractic Clinic is located at 1654 Mardon Dr., just west of the intersection of Dayton-Xenia Rd. and Grange Hall Rd. For more information, call (937) 426-9265 or go online to www.beavercreekchiro.com.
