Beck Technical Research II Receives 3-Star Dividend Rating, Prepares for Launch of FutSL

The arrival of Second Life's version of FutSal in Second Life is quickly approaching if all things continue on the current track for Beck Technical Research II(BTX : SLCAPEX).

Describing recently what FutSal is, and how it is different than the numerous Soccer (football) leagues currently in Second Life, BTX(SLCAPEX) CEO Beck explained, "In a nutshell, SL FutSL is simply my interpretation of the popular international sport commonly called Futsal (sometimes called Indoor Soccer here in the U.S.) It's a very fast-paced, high-scoring game; the walls are "in play" (just like hockey). Most RL leagues here in the US play either 5 v 5 or 7 v 7 with (2) 20-minute halves per game. Given the high percentage of Brazilian and Portugese residents in SL (where Futsal is EXTREMELY popular) I thought it would be a good fit for SL - not too many players required (low lag, easier to field a team), games aren't "too long" so ideal for the short attention span many of us seem to have in SL (well, at least mine!). My implementation supports either 5 v 5 or 7v7 Soccer played on a hockey-sized Rink. I have rezzed an SL FutSL Arena on the BIG SIM immediately north of the SL CapEx HQ. Our version uses a PLAYER HUD, a Goalie HUD and a custom HUD for the Referee. I'm hoping to be able to recruit an 8 Team League for our first season... if things go well I'll try to expand it to 12 or 16 teams (possible two leagues) for the following season."

BTX(SLCAPEX) is a stock that attempts to innovate new product lines and programs, which will eventually be spun off into their own stock or security if they prove successful. Beck also is the CEO of BAY(SLCAPEX), BIG(SLCAPEX) and is in a partnership with Scott Nestler of NIC(SLCAPEX) to purchase the Second Life Stock Exchange (SLCAPEX) itself.

With this month's third L$0.01 dividend in three months, BTX(SLCAPEX) earns a 3-Star Luminos Dividend Rating, and has a 6DYA (6-Month Dividend Yield Average) of L$0.005.

On the coming FutSal season Beck said, "SL FutSL League is just about ready for launch. I expect to have the League Website and Team Registration available no later than midnight (SLT) Friday, January 2, 2009! As such it's time to really push the Capital Campaign so we can launch with Gusto. I have just placed 70,000 BTX shares up for sale at a substancial discount to our recent average trading range. The sooner we can place those shares into the hands of our longterm shareholders the quicker we can get Teams Registered and our Inaugural Season underway."

With the November Financials Beck expressed concern in BTX(SLCAPEX) share trading performance, "I'm still concerned about the price errosion of BTX. As I have discussed here previously, I've been diligently guarding the Treasury Reserve in anticipation of Capital needs to launch the FutSL Campaign and have recently placed a substantial portion of the treasury shares at Limit at what in my mind is a FAIR PRICE... tell me, what's wrong with my math? Please! It seems all my effort has done is attract a handful of sellers parked on the Ask! I'll be paying out half of this months Retained Earnings as a Dividend. Please be forewarned however, if I can't move a good percentage of the treasury shares in the next month at a fair price I will need to withold further dividend distribution until the FutSL League is up and operational."

BTX(SLCAPEX) opened today's trading L$4.00 and has a 30 day rolling average share value of L$4.88 with a 30 day rolling volume average of 1465 shares traded per day.
