Becoming a BzzAgent

Niki
Being a BzzAgent is fun and easy, who doesn't like getting free stuff.

The founder " "realized the power word-of-mouth has, and that companies were not using this type of advertising to its full potential. Since you are more likely to use something your friend tells you about. It is also a great way to feedback on products, and advertise new products to get a Bzz going.

Signing up is easy, all you do is go to the website and click "become an agent". Once you have your account set up and have checked out the agent home page you will want to take the surveys. They are there to help determine what campaigns to invite you to join. Let us say you are a man, you will not want to Bzz about a new kind of tampon? Right? Now do not expect to participate in every campaign, they are usually not nation wide. So some may get more invites than others. In most cases, they send samples for you and to give out.

It may take a while after you sign up, for you to get your first invite. I just barely got my first one and I joined up months ago. You have to accept the invite before they will send you the product. The wait time is not bad; it arrives in about two weeks. Once you get the sample(s), and test them, go and Bzz about it. After you Have Buzzed, They ask that you go to their website, sign in, and fill out a BzzReport (within a cretin about of days after joining a campaign). A BzzReport is just the details on whom and where you did your Bzzing about the product. Try to be as detailed as possible in your report, and don't forget to include what you thought about the product in your report, they want to know your opinion too. One condition to being an agent is you have to tell the people you are Bzzing too that you are a BzzAgent. I like this rule.

For participating in campaigns and taking their surveys you get points, I am not sure what you can redeem them for, yet. I do not have enough points. As far as I know there is no monetary compensation, but isn't getting free stuff enough? This is great for people with a blog it gives you posting material. In addition, for those of you with paid posting on your blog you do not have to worry, since there is no money involved it should not count as a "paid posting".

I have found that when you sign up for stuff like this they tend to flood your inbox with junk mail, but with BzzAgent I only get emails for invites. Of course that is aside from the one they send you when you sign up to verify your email address. So, you shouldn't worry about being spammed to death from them.

A few weeks after you join, you should get a little welcome package in the mail. This will have the basics about being an agent. However, you can find the same info on their website and more. They have a training section to help you earn agent upgrades. It is broken down in to three parts, 1: Beginner, 2: Intermediate and 3: Advanced. Check it out and see if you want to become an agent.

A short biography huh, well none of my stories are short and most people wouldn't believe them anyways. I had some crazy stuff happen to me. I'm a Cha Cha Guide, blogger, freelance writer/web designer,...  View profile

I am also a bzzagent. I joined in early May and just received my first invite last week for Crest Dissolving White Strips. I can't wait to get them in the mail! It will probably be another week or two.
