Bed and Breakfast Inns in New York

For a Peaceful Stay

Regina Sass
There is an alternative to the big, impersonal hotels when looking for accommodations in New York City. There are some first class Inns and Bed and Breakfasts that give the traveler personal service in a family environment. With as little as 6 guests and the highest being 14, these inns and Bed and Breakfasts give personal service and the inn keepers know their city. They can give you hints on non tourist places to visit, where to find the best restaurants and you have the peace and quite that only a small Inn or Bed and Breakfast can offer. Some of them have breakfast included, some do not, check with them to see if it is available at an additional cost, but the rooms are equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette, and if there is one thing you do not have to worry about it is finding a restaurant in New York City There is at least one on almost every block and some of them will deliver. Check with the Inn. They may have special arrangements with local restaurants. They are definitely worth considering for your next visit. It is a great chance to see how New Yorkers lived in the 19th century.
