'Bed' is the second song released off of J. Holiday's album Back of My Lac'. Written by The Dream, it was produced by Los Da Maestro and contains many remixes. The official remix is with Ja Rule and Trina. This song was released June 19, 2007 to the United States. The version found on the CD is 4:35, while the radio edit version lasts only 3:55. This was considered the seventieth best song of 2007, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.

The music video for this song was directed by Jonathan Mannion. It begins with J. Holiday on a tour bus. The video cuts to scenes of a woman whom he is singing about. He eventually walks down a deserted road, buys a car, and drives to his girlfriend's house, in which he is happy to see him. Then, as night approaches, he puts her to 'Bed'. The next morning when he wakes up, he sees his girlfriend still asleep, so he takes his plane ticket and leaves in a taxi, leaving he car he bought behind at the house.

There are over a dozen different remixes to this song. Ja Rule and Trina are on the official remix. Other rappers that are in one of the many remixes to this song include Nina Sky, Chingy, Jermaine Dupri, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Plies, Trey Songz, Divino, Seamus Haji, Danny G, DJ Mulgeta, Chris Louis, Cassidy, and Ludacris. The Dream has also done his own version of this song. Up-and-coming artist Aisha wrote another song called Can U Put Me to Bed. There is also a Spanish version performed by Jean. This video debuted on BET's 106 & Park at number nine, and after eleven days, it reached the top spot. J. Holiday performed this song on August 17 on the show.

This song did well in the United States, but not much success was found elsewhere. This song debuted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 on July 4, 2007 at spot number eighty-nine. It peaked at spot number five. It also topped the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop, where it held the top spot for five consecutive weeks. This song also made it as high as second on the U.S. Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 and twenty-sixth on the Pop 100. It was released to three other countries, where it placed eleventh on the New Zealand Singles Chart, thirty-second on the United Kingdom Singles Chart, and ninety-second on the Canadian Hot 100.
