Beef O Brady's is a franchise sports bar that is currently in 19 different states throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Beef O Brady's was established in 1985 by a small restaurant owner, Jim Mellody. Jim had been the owner of a small Italian restaurant in the Tampa Florida area near when he decided to purchase a sandwich shop. The first Beef O Brady's was established in Brandon, Florida.

Jim Mellody decided that he wanted a limited, appetizing, and affordable menu. He wanted to have the best employees that cared for his customers, and he truly knew that he would have to listen to the customers suggestions if he wanted to be a successful restaurant.

Jim tried our numerous different sandwiches before deciding on a menu. He added some here and removed some there before he made his final decision. Jim also decided to add his own special recipe for Buffalo Style Chicken Wings. Customers loved the chicken wings and soon this became the major item for his restaurant.

The Chicken wings are freshly cooked and served with Blue Cheese or Ranch and celery. Beef O Brady's makes a few different flavors of wings, all which are very popular among guests. These flavors include: mild, medium, hot, extra hot, nuclear, garlic, honey BBQ, and teriyaki. The nuclear wings are known as the hottest wings that you will ever taste.

From that time, until now, the chain has blossomed. They have opened store is 19 different states throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Jim then decided that he would like his restaurants to have a sports theme. If you ever go visit a Beef O Brady's Sports Bar, you will find big screen TV's with sports on them. If there are booths in the establishment, each booth has its own TV that you can change the channel to any channel that you would like to watch. There are sports memorabilia hanging on the walls, along with some autographed items also.

Beef O Brady's is a family establishment that you do not have to worry about taking your children to. There is a bar area of course, but also ample space for tables for family settings. Beef O Brady's has a wonderful kids menu that is very competitive priced. Most of the items actually cost less, if not the same, as a Happy Meal from McDonalds or Burger King. Their kids menu has a wide variety of selections including grilled chicken wrap, chicken fingers, chicken wings, chicken salad, cheeseburger, hamburger, chicken nuggets, hot dog, grilled cheese, and macaroni and cheese.

Another great thing about this chain is that they have Happy Hour specials. These specials are usually held from 4pm-7pm, but you may want to check your local restaurant due to the possibility of differences. During Happy Hour, they normally have any of their chicken wings at a discounted price and then some drink specials.
