Slipping into the darkness of the night
beyond the barren dreams of yesterday
wandering into your dream of black and white
on your knees son, cinema verite
Sliding down a greasy pole multiplex
along the ocean's ebbing tide
I saturated your wordless balloon
puncturing the sadness with a loud pop
on your feet soldier, fire at will
Skating across the delusion of loneliness
through the wind in absent formation
numbering your motives from one to thirty one
in your face, homogenized hero
Slipping into the darkness of the night
beyond the barren dreams of tomorrow
wandering through your dream of black and white
on your knees son, deja vu
Deja.
