1/2lb Flour
Beer
Water
Salt
Pepper
Yellow Coloring
You simply place the flour, salt and pepper into a mixing bowl, add the beer gradually followed by the water until the desired consistency is achieved. Add a small amount of the coloring at a time until the required color found.
You can use this batter immediately once it is made, best if left to stand for a few minutes though. If kept covered in the fridge it can also be used the next day.
By adding some herbs or spices into the dry mix it creates another new taste to your fried food.

Post a CommentThis seems simple enough to make and there are not many ingredients, which is nice! I find it off-putting when I see thirty listed ingredients for a recipe.
