Australia has always been known for it's great tasting beer. Although several people had made many attempts to brew beer in the days of the early colony, a gentleman by the name of John Boston was the first person on record to brew beer. He began in 1794 in Sydney, Australia in which he had very little success. In the early 1800's several breweries were established including the Foster Brewing Company, established in 1888.
