Canada's first brewery was founded by Jean Talon in 1688. The Talon brewery became very successful and began selling their brew to the West Indies, in which their beer became the first Canadian beer to be exported.
Several other breweries came to be throughout the late 1800's but after Prohibition and the Second World War
many breweries merged together and formed large companies. The decision to do so allowed the quality of Canadian beer to be better than ever plus offer a larger variety of beer. Hell's Gate Pale Ale

Farmhand Ale
This amazing spicy ale is very unique because it's brewed with fresh ground black pepper and Belgium yeast, with hints of fruit. The Farmhand Ale tastes delicious and it's brewed at the Driftwood Brewery, located in Victoria, British Columbia.
Race Rocks Amber Ale
This great tasting beer has won several awards for it's wonderful taste. It has a chestnut color and it's made with chocolate and crystal malts. Race Rocks Amber Ale has a smooth, creamy, malty taste. This ale is brewed at the Lighthouse Brewing Company located in Victoria, British Columbia.
Auld Nick
