Beer is for Girls!

Top Beers that a Girl Will Like

Marli
Like many other girls, I didn't like beer for a really long time. But slowly, as I spent more time around beer-drinkers, I grew to like the taste of beer and even began to pick out my favorites. I still have many female friends who don't like beer, so whenever I try to persuade them to try some, I always suggest the names of beers that I and other female friends tend to enjoy the most. So here is my list of top beers that a girl will enjoy most.

Blue Moon

Yuuuuum! This beer is so tasty. It has a rich flavor without being too bitter (a flavor I think many girls shy away from). This is one of my favorite beers to sip on. Blue Moon has many varieties including Pale Moon, Belgian White, Spring Blonde, Summer Honey Wheat, Harvest Pumpkin Ale, and Blue Abbey Ale.

Red Stripe

This Jamaican beer is generally a hit also. This lager has a great flavor. It goes especially well with steak, so if you're planning on barbecuing for Valentine's Day, this could be the option for you. If you want to try it with a simple meal, go with a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with grilled green peppers and onions.

Landshark

This beer definitely has a lighter, smoother taste than the previous two. A Landshark would be perfect on a hot summer's day with a little lime. A good meal to serve with it would be grilled tuna or salmon with a medley of vegetables.

Hornsbys

When all else fails and you can't find a beer you like, try Hornsbys. I have never met a person who didn't like Hornsbys. It's the drink of choice when getting together with girl friends and guys like it too! Hornsbys is crisp apple cider, which makes it different from beer since it's fermented apple juice instead of fermented barley.

While beer takes some getting used to, it's surprisingly refreshing (despite dehydrating you) and enjoyable. So go ahead and try some new beers. You can stick to the ones listed here for venture out and find your own. Whatever you do, remember, be patient and try many different types. I didn't like beer for a very long time. It took finding the one that tasted good to me before I could fully enjoy it.
