Introduction: Living in a log cabin in the country has its rewards and its challenges. A big challenge in our log cabin was a home office that bowed toward the center. My husband and I decided to have the floor torn out and replace it with a sturdy one. Here are the photos galore and descriptions of this nearly month-long process.

I hope you enjoyed watching the blossoming of this renovation process in my home office that doubles as my dressing room. It took place mostly during the month of February 2011. This completed home office is truly my dream room now.
