Before It's Too Late!

Is Your Family Tree Missing Branches?

Diane Zoller-Ciatto

While gazing at my family tree

At all the missing branches

I shudder to think of all who passed

And all those unquestioned chances!

It's way too late

To deliberate the past

With people who are gone

And questions I could have asked!

So communicate with them

Before, like me, that it's too late

Find the time...do it today

No matter how much is on your plate!

    Sadly true.

What a perfect, appropriate and beautiful picture to use here! Great idea and great choice! And it's so true about how we should find out everything we can about them. We have no way of knowing who will want or need to know these connections once we're gone. I even suggest adding, if possible, the reasons for each person's death, if possible. Otherwise future generations have no way to know what problems run in the family. Doctors are always asking these questions.

You are so right Diane. Outstanding idea. This is something that we can pass on to our children and grandchildren.

Good advice. Seize the day; it could be YOUR last one too.

There is always ruing the missed chances when someone leaves us forever. We tend to blame our busy lives and some even take comfort and excuse in them. I am one who misses the camaraderie and face to face interaction of the earlier times. Your thoughts touch me no end, Nana - siva
