Beginners Guide to Virtual Villagers Part 2 : Puzzles

These are the puzzles and how to solve them. Do not read if you do not want to spoil the game for yourself. You get tech points from the researching tribe members whenever they work. You need to use the tech points to buy things in the game to help unlock the puzzles. Just click on tech and you will see what you can buy if you can afford it.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #1 Uncover the well

You need to drag your builder over to the well so that they can uncover it. Once uncovered the well will the tribes source of water.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #2 Hut Constructions

After you build your first hut you will have completed the second Virtual Villagers puzzle. Before the first hut is built you are limited to 7 villagers, 15, 30, and your final tally is 90 virtual villagers. Huts are constructed by the builders.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #3 Clean up the Beach

Once you buy level 3 of farming, you can begin to clean up the beach. Once the debris is all cleared away you can begin fishing which gives you an unlimited source of food.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #4 Build a School

Above the research table you will find a building. Drag a master scientist to this building and he or she will transform it into a school. This is great because the kids go to the school and before they begin working they start to build on their different skills.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #5 Create Lagoon

Buy the level 2 of construction and then take a villager to the northwest area of the island. Once there they will begin to unblock the rocks blocking the flow of water into a nearby creek.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #6 Find the Strange Fish

Once you have level 3 of farming and you have created a lagoon by unblocking the creek, you can take a master farmer and throw them in. Keep dragging them back to the water until they come out with a special fish. Once caught you might recognize the fish from the Fish Tycoon game.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #7 Bury the Dead

Buy level 2 of spirituality so that when a villager dies the tribe will bury them in the top right grassy area. You have to drag someone to that spot first and then they will bury the dead on their own after that.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #8 Master the Plants

There are four plants on the island that have to be studied. Once you find them all you will complete this puzzle. The plants are located to the south of the lagoon, a cactus near the large boulder, the last two are on the right side of the island.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #9 Blooms in the Field

Once you have the lagoon unblocked you can take some builders to the right side of the island where they have been looking at the dead plants and flowers. Once you do that they will begin to water the field and after a very long time, the field will bloom once again. You can get other tribe members to water the field but they will stop every time. The builders are the only ones who continue to water the field until it blooms.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #10 Restore Strange Plant

This puzzle works with puzzles 13 and 14. Once you have the golden child, get the butterflies to follow him and then take him to the dead plant that is high above the berry plant.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #11 Restore the Temple

Once you have bought level 2 of spirituality and level 3 of construction you can drag villagers to the area of the ruins. They will begin to rebuild it.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #12 Chisel the Rock

After the ruins are rebuilt and you have bought level 3 of spirituality you can have one of your villagers start chiseling the large pretty rock to the left of the island so that he creates an idol.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #13 The Golden Childs Birth

To get the golden child you need to have completed the idol, lagoon and purchase level 3 of fertility. Once all of these are completed you simply need to take one of the nursing mothers and drop her in the lagoon. The golden child is born.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #14 Butterflies

Drag the golden child over to the field of blooms. Butterflies will soon appear.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #15 Find the Buried Treasure

To get the buried treasure you need a master builder, level 3 of construction and science and you need to put the master builder in the right location. To find the correct spot you need to line up the food cart and temple. Once you search that sandy area, the tribe member should notice something.

Virtual Villagers Puzzle #16 Move the BoulderOnly the golden child can move the boulder and you cannot make him do it. He will go around the island and he will move the boulder whenever he's ready. Once the boulder has been moved you can take a tribe member to look in the uncovered cave. This cave is the secret to part 2 of Virtual Villagers.
