Beginning of the End

This is the first part in the series I am about to write called "Beginning of The End". I truly believe we are in the days for told by bible prophecy considered as the beginning of the end of the age.

In this time events are going to come to pass that are astounding, amazing, and can be frightening if our hearts do not belong to the Savior, Jesus Christ. We can have 3 different outlooks on these events. We can look on in fear and trembling, with indifference, or with joy and excitement.

I noticed on the internet an article about two Baptist ministers who have given up the faith and declared themselves atheist/agnostic. They claim they have been deceived. The two pastors say the more they read the bible the more they saw discrepancies. At least one of them say they continue as a minister because they have no other skills and need the income to support their family. This is exactly what the word of God is talking about in 1 Timothy 4:1. "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons."

This is going on more than one would think. There is more to it than just what the two Baptist ministers has done. As we delve further into 1 Timothy 4 we find more alarming prophecy that is prevalent today. Verses 2-5 states; "Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

There are cults that have priest that are forbidden to marry. There are cults that forbid the eating of certain meats. All this points to the beginning of the end of the age.

As I said previously we can have three different outlooks on these events. My outlook is excitement and joy, because it shows to me that the return of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ is soon to return.

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4. This is another indication of the beginning of the end. It is amazing how technology in the last few years has increased at a fantastic rate. What was a few years ago science fiction is todays fact.

In this series I want to relate my personal beliefs on the matter. I try in humble and reverent prayer to follow what the word of God says. God said it; I believe it and that is good enough for me. I do not understand everything that is going on, but what I do not understand I take it by faith in Jesus until He reveals it to me through His Holy Spirit.
