Behind the Bleachers: Your Best Make Out Sesh Stories from High School

Getting caught making out when you were in high school seems to have a badge of honor attached to it. It seemed like every party or get-together involved making out with your boyfriend, while your BFF was across the room, snogging with hers. One record night included five couples parked in my bedroom at my parents' house. But one of the most infamous make out sessions from my high school involved my French exchange student.

I will call her Clare. She had come to stay with me for three weeks in the spring, and apparently had been held under tight reins back home. We quickly found out why.

She peaked the interest of one of my classmates, whom I will call Craig. I'm not sure that he had ever really had a girlfriend before, and Clare wasn't allowed to date back home. They spent as much time together as possible, with my mother frantically watching every grope, and keeping lights blazing at all times.

The teachers had decided to take the hosting students and the exchange students on a special trip to Niagara Falls. For the entire 6 hour bus trip, Clare and Craig were lip-locked, bringing about new meaning to the term "sucking face". The teachers were wringing their hands, not sure what to do. And the amused students kept taking pictures.

The two kept trying to disappear during our tour of the Falls. After all, it's one of the most romantic destinations, right? But the teachers finally decided to assert some authority and kept them close at hand. On the way home, they were separated, and forced to sit on opposite ends of the bus. It didn't put a damper on the ill-fated relationship, though, which kept raging forward until Clare returned to France a few weeks later.
