The Jonas Brothers' romantic lives are always on display to their fans. So it only makes sense that Jonas Brothers fans would be curious about some of their most famous and public break-ups. Although we can't always know every detail behind every break-up, there are enough rumors and speculation out there to let fans fill in the blanks for themselves.

The Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus Break-Up

Perhaps the most famous Jonas Brother break-up ever was that of the youngest Jonas Brother, Nick Jonas and his uber-famous girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. Although the two were pretty young when they first begin dating, it doesn't mean that their relationship wasn't special.

Miley Cyrus told Seventeen Magazine that Nick Jonas was on a quest to meet her. When he finally did meet Miley, she says the attraction was instantaneous and they became an item that very same day.

While they dated, the young couple dodged questions about their relationship and gave the standard "We're just friends" answer to reporters. In fact, it was only after the couple broke up, that Miley Cyrus finally opened up about their relationship.

Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus dated for two years before finally breaking up. Miley has said that there was a lot of arguing towards the end and it became evident that they couldn't and shouldn't stay together.

After the break-up, Miley says that she went through a typical mourning period, where she cried every day straight for an entire month. She claims that they are still friends though and doesn't rule out the possibility of getting back together with Nick Jonas at some point.

However, that might be a little difficult now that Nick Jonas is rumored to be dating Selena Gomez, another Disney babe, who some say is being groomed by Disney to take over as the next Miley Cyrus.

The Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift Break-Up

Everyone knows that Joe Jonas is quite the ladies man. Reports had linked him to his Camp Rock co-star, Demi Lovato, but it was country star, Taylor Swift, who nabbed this Jonas Brother for a fun, summer fling.

Rumors that the two of them were dating started over the summer while they were both on their respective tours. They were each caught attending each others' concerts while trying to keep a very low profile.

Photos of Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift on what appeared to be a double-date with Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez only served to confirm what every Joe Jonas fan was afraid of - that he was indeed romantically involved with Taylor Swift.

However, it seems that their romance was short-lived. In early October 2008, reports that Joe Jonas had broken up with Taylor Swift over the phone surfaced much to the delight of thousands of Joe Jonas fans. Their favorite Jonas Brother was back on the market once more!
