1. Try eating some oatmeal and granola. If you are serious about eating low cholesterol meals then this is the way to go. Both are very low in cholesterol and take barely any time to prepare. If you do not like the taste then try adding some sugar to the oatmeal or adding some berries to it. With the granola, add in some yogurt with it and then both become much more tolerable to eat than before.
2. Pancakes can be very healthy for the body if prepared right. If you leave out the butter, whole milk, and cream then pancakes can actually be very good for a person trying to eat with a low amount of cholesterol in their diet. So instead of that heavy syrup, try using some berries or peanut butter on your pancakes. It will really help in the long run!
Lunch -
1. Try anything with avocados in it. Make an avocado sandwich with some lunch meat or something along with the avocado. If that doesn't sound appetizing then try making an avocado salad. They can be cut up into small pieces in order for certain healthy chemicals to release.
2. Pulled Pork Tenderloin - This is a very healthy meal that is also pretty healthy! It is also pretty easy to make if you do it right. Just cook it in a slow cooker crock pot overnight and by lunch time you have perfect pork. All you have to do is pull it! Then add some sauce to the pork and put a bun on it and you have a healthy low cholesterol meal for the afternoon!
Dinner -
1. Instead of having tacos or burritos with ground beef, refried beans, and a flour tortilla, try getting rid of all of these and substituting them with grilled chicken, black beans, and a whole wheat tortilla. The black beans and whole wheat tortilla both are great to keep the bad cholesterol down, and the chicken instead of the beef just puts the icing on the cake on a good, heart-healthy meal!
2. Garden Penne - This is a regular penne except instead of unhealthy meats and cheese, you just add in as many vegetables as you want! This is low in the cholesterol because of all the vegetables that are included in the penne. So eat up and enjoy your low cholesterol meal.
