Being Pregnant Again Might Seem like a Piece of Cake, but is It?

I am pregnant for the second time and so far I have been fine. I have noticed differences with this pregnancy though. The second time you are pregnant you will feel many different things with your body, such as stronger braxton hicks contractions. These are just samples of the real thing when you are in labor. You'll be able to recognize the baby's movements sooner.

Many moms that have had more than one child tend to not be as concerned as with the first pregnancy. You won't worry much about complications or what to eat or things you can or can't do.
You might think that your first child will feel less loved because of the new baby. Having a newborn is a lot of work and having to focus a lot more on the baby might make you feel guilty.

Sleeping might not be an option to you, having two children can be a lot of work. I have my two year old and wanting to go to sleep early is something I can't do. She wants to play and stay up a little longer. When the baby arrives I'll have to attend to both with limited sleep.

Your belly will show sooner, due to the fact that your skin has stretched already it will show more during this pregnancy. You might gain more weight also, watching your foods might not be as important to you as it was for your first pregnancy.

It is also said that the second pregnancy is quicker when in labor. I do not know if this is true because I'm still pregnant but I will find out sooner or later, and if it is in fact true, then yey!!

Lets talk about money, having another child might be exciting, but are you ready money-wise?
For me I know I will have a tight budget. My two year old is still potty training, so I will be buying diapers for two which aren't cheap. Buying clothes is also money consuming. Newborns tend to grow fast, so you will have to buy new clothes almost every 2 months. The good thing is that you have all the baby equipment from the first pregnancy.

Morning sickness is less during the second pregnancy, with my daughter I had it for a couple of months, with this pregnancy I have had none so far.

Don't be afraid of having another child, Of course the experience will be different the second time around. But once it is over and done with you will be so happy you did it. I can't wait to have my bundle of joy and seeing my daughter play with him. Go ahead and do it, you will regret it if you wait.
