Are you looking for your business to grow? Here are 5 simple techniques that you can use to add the value and positive impact on the others. Do you have difficulty to remember the name of someone with whom you had contact? Do not worry, you're not alone. People forget who you are too. So, what can you do that's simple and have a great influence on others? Of course, you can dress exceptionally or think of a funny nickname. That could work, at least initially. But for the long-term success, you need to be much more memorable.

Here are five techniques that you can use to focus on your customers, friends and business partners:

Just send a handwritten note

We rarely get handwritten notes often which is what makes them so special. The next time you mail something to someone you know, send it in an envelope in person with a handwritten note. Your envelope is the first of the initiation and they will surely remember you.

Send them a list of news and information

The next time you make a magazine or a newspaper, think of who you know that may find it interesting. There is a good probability of a person on your contact list interested in reading this article. Clip and send it with a message. You can also e-mail Web articles. Send your suggestions on a book that you just read. Next time you see them at a social event you will have the oppurtunity to tell them. Remember, you are not selling them anything, but being thoughtful which is a big step in them remembering you.

Speaking about the interests

A large part is to be very memorable. It is difficult to love someone who speaks only for themselves or their services. It is like playing a Infomercial - boring! Find out what your customers like to do if they are not at work. Is it cooking, the Washington Redskins, fishing, or taking care of their grandchildren? These things are very important for them. If you encourage them about their interests, you will be very memorable.

Purchase a cup of coffee

It may be difficult to build connections through brief telephone conversations or e-mails. If you want to get to know someone better, invite them for a cup of coffee. You may have a little more time to learn. Think about certain topics you can speak before the meeting. Keep the conversation light, but use plenty of time.

To someone who you know

I bet that many people you know. Think of your network friends and partners and find creative ways to help them. Help them meet their network as well as you did.
