Belfast

JR
Come and see the city, come and see the Town,

It's a beautiful place, it won't let you down.

The people are friendly, in sunshine and rain,

Come and see Belfast, Its beautiful again.

_

Well Belfast City is not so small,

Its cranes like Goliath, stand proud and tall,

his bright yellow coat can be widely seen,

From the Shankill the Falls and Ballybean.

_

Stormont castle, a magnificent site,

Its walls shine brightly by day and night.

And the Albert clock with its big crooked face,

Stands towering proudly in its place.

_

The River Lagan Gently flows,

Under the Queens bridge and on it goes.

The Cavehill mountains humbly stand,

Welcoming visitors to the land.

_

Belfast's had it troubles, over the years,

From bombings and shootings, people in tears.

But thankfully, this is now all in the past,

As the people of Belfast live peacefully at last.

_

So if you're a tourist please come and see,

Belfast and all it is cracked up to be.
