Believe or Not to Believe?

"GOD"

*Shell*
A battle of inner self throughout the years of my childhood, adolescence, and beginning of adult hood, is one of the tales of the almighty Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, "God". Throughout those years, experiences, encounters and much more began to test my faith to its highest ability. I began dwelling on the fact that I was not entirely sure at times that this so called "God" was out there.

Trying to overcome the losses of loved ones, horrible situations, personal experiences, at one point it was hard for me to believe that "God" would let such things happen on earth. I couldn't understand why he let horrible things happen to such good hearted people, the most close to him. It baffled me.

I continued to live in this way of thinking for many years, to be honest my mind didn't change until I reunited again with my Fiancée. Although not a regular "church going" He has given me some great insight on his version of "Gods Plan". If we were suppose to know the whys and how's and will of God, then our lives would not be ours to live, he said to me one day.

I guess my fiancée taught me that God has plan and he has made this plan for a reason, everything that happens to us here on earth has some reasoning behind it, even if we don't find out until later in life what that reasoning was.

Through him, I began to let my faith rise a bit more and become more comfortable with God. I have my love to thank for that.

Yes, things happen and all the answers may not even come in this lifetime, but knowing that God is sovereign surely gives a person peace of mind and that Romans 8:28 doesn't hurt, but verse 29 is usually left out. Good article Michelle. Its spot on the mark, as usual for you.
